A5 wagyu – Melts in your mouth, not in the pan…

Now, this is a shining example that it’s not the decor that matters, it really comes down to the ingredients…

And so, inside this humble little restaurant, beneath a scary facade, lies a little fatty piece of Wagyu beef. Which is SO SO YUM!!!!!!!

Ta-da, here it is! This is Japanese Furano A5 beef! We chose a simple Sukiyaki to prepare this little pieces of delight, which meant lightly frying the meats first to burst out the oils, then soaking them lightly in a sweet soy sauce. And then, it’s ready.

AND IT’S SO GOOD!  Really, you haven’t eaten meat if you haven’t tried Wagyu.

And here’s another example of how good ingredients really makes the difference.  This are just slabs of mozarella cheese, produced locally in Hokkaido.  They call it “smooth tofu”.  Fresh cheese never tasted so good!
